This study delves into the realm of adult education, investigating the impact of teaching methods on students’ learning attitudes and academic performance. With Nigeria’s legislative framework emphasizing adult education as a constitutional right, the study scrutinizes the efficacy of two specific teaching methods: Problem-Solving Approach and Technology Aided Instruction. Through a survey-type expo-facto design, data is gathered from forty teachers in Ikeja Local Government area of Lagos State, employing descriptive survey techniques. Findings aim to provide insights into effective teaching strategies for adult education, shedding light on the challenges and opportunities within the field. The study’s significance lies in its potential to inform educational planners, educators, and policymakers, contributing to the enhancement of teaching and learning practices in adult education contexts.
