Topic: The Human Body
Sub-Topic: Identification of Head, Hair, Eyes, and Nose

Instructional Objectives
At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

  1. Identify and name the parts of the head, including hair, eyes, and nose.
  2. Describe the function of each part of the head (e.g., seeing with eyes, smelling with nose).
  3. Draw and label the head with its parts in a simple diagram.

Entry Behaviour
Pupils should already know basic body parts (e.g., hands, legs) and have some familiarity with identifying different body parts through daily activities.

  2. Visual aids (e.g., diagrams or pictures of the human head)

Definition: The head is the top part of the body where the brain, eyes, ears, nose, and mouth are located.
Note: The head helps us see with our eyes, hear with our ears, smell with our nose, and talk with our mouth. Hair covers the head and helps protect it.
