Instructional Objectives

At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

  1. Identify simple responsibilities they have at home.
  2. Understand the importance of helping at home.
  3. Demonstrate how to perform one simple chore at home.

Entry Behavior

Pupils should be familiar with activities they see adults doing at home, like sweeping, washing, or arranging things.


Instructional Materials

  1. Flashcards with pictures of children doing chores (sweeping, washing plates, arranging toys).
  2. A broom and dustpan.
  3. A toy basket with scattered toys.

Responsibilities of a Child at Home:
Children have responsibilities at home that help their family. These responsibilities can include:

  • Keeping their toys in the right place.
  • Helping to sweep or clean small areas.
  • Helping to arrange the chairs and tables.

  • Children can help their parents by doing simple chores like arranging their toys and helping to keep the house clean.
  • Helping at home makes the house a nice and happy place to live.
