Objectives
At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

- Evaluate the effectiveness of their patchwork and darning techniques in restoring the functionality of the fabric.
Entry Behaviour
Before starting this lesson, pupils should already know about basic sewing techniques and have a basic understanding of fabric types. They should be familiar with the concepts of sewing and mending.

Types of Darns

- Cross Stitch Darn: This uses a cross-stitch pattern to reinforce areas and can be decorative as well. It is often used on thicker fabrics.

- Fishbone Darn: This technique creates a strong repair by using diagonal stitches in a fishbone pattern, providing both strength and visual interest.
