Examples of National Values
Contentment is a state of happiness and satisfaction with what one has, rather than constantly striving for more. It encourages individuals to appreciate their circumstances and foster a positive outlook. For example, a child who enjoys playing with friends rather than focusing on material possessions demonstrates contentment.
Right Attitude to Work refers to the mindset and approach an individual brings to their tasks, characterized by diligence, responsibility, and enthusiasm. A positive work attitude means taking pride in one’s work, being punctual, completing tasks to the best of one’s ability, and collaborating well with others. For instance, a student who consistently does their homework and participates actively in class exhibits a right attitude to work.
Both contentment and the right attitude to work are essential national values that promote personal happiness, social harmony, and collective progress in Nigeria.
