I. Basic Information
- Job Title: Customer Liaison Officer
- Location: Seacroft, Leeds, Yorkshire
- Salary: £23,920 – £28,080 (dependent on experience/qualifications)
- Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, core hours 8am-4.30pm, 30 mins lunch, 3pm finish on Fridays)
II. Job Description (Summary)
- Summary: Serve as the first point of contact for customers regarding property refurbishments on social housing-based construction sites. Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and the Health Sector to deliver refurbishment projects.
III. Job Requirements
- Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience/Skills:
- Honesty, reliability, and punctuality with excellent time management skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and work proactively with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage company assets/vehicles responsibly
- First Aid at Work certification (if expired, it will be covered by the employer)
IV. Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers and Scheme Managers regarding access and the programme of works
- Assist and liaise with Site Managers, Supervisors, and the client
- Establish working relations with neighbourhood housing associations
- Send pre-introduction letters to tenants and introduce yourself as the main point of contact
- Conduct pre-entry surveys on tenants’ houses, including taking photos/videos of affected areas
- Maintain contact with tenants throughout and upon completion of the works to ensure satisfaction
- Manage client systems and trackers (e.g., Iplanned/Mi Housing)
- Resolve tenant claims/compensation requests promptly and appropriately, following company procedures and escalation processes
