The role will require collaboration with program teams to develop ideas and strategies, and the position will report directly to the Global Development Director.
III. Job Requirements
Experience and Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of securing funding from trusts and foundations.
- High-quality verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to independently develop strategies for engaging new donors.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to deliver high-level proposals.
- Demonstrated experience with unpublished funding opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with trusts and foundations to secure funding.
- Collaborate with programme teams to develop proposals and submit them to potential donors.
- Manage relationships with donors and maintain regular reporting.
- Contribute to donor intelligence and competitor mapping.
- Line manage a Development Assistant.
