II. Job Description
MTN is looking for a Senior Manager to lead the IoT Solutions practice in the ICT Center of Excellence. This role is responsible for the development, delivery, and commercial success of IoT solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals. The Head of IoT Solutions will oversee product management, pre-sales, architecture, engineering, delivery, alliances, and go-to-market functions, with full accountability for profit and loss (P&L) within the IoT business line.
III. Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Drive innovation and the development of comprehensive solutions that align with MTN’s business strategy. Lead the growth strategy and ensure that solutions meet sales targets.
- Business Line Solution Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams across product management, engineering, and pre-sales to develop and implement solutions.
- Customer Satisfaction: Focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations and contractual obligations.
- Financial Management: Manage the budget for IoT solutions and ensure P&L responsibility is met.
- Governance and Risk Management: Develop policies, procedures, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- People Leadership: Manage and develop teams, fostering a high-performance culture with clear goals and development plans.
IV. Qualifications
- Education: 3-year degree in Technology Systems, Telecommunications Management, or Information Technology. An MBA or Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Experience: 10+ years in senior management, with experience in sales, commercial strategy, P&L management, and IoT solutions. Proven track record in launching and managing solutions in a fast-paced environment.
