As an Industrial RF Engineer, you will support RF communication requirements in the EMEA region, participate in the global industrial network team, and identify optimal RF system solutions for digital platforms. You will also provide operational support for complex systems and contribute to standards and designs worldwide.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related fields.
Experience:
- 10+ years experience in a complex RF environment.
- Expertise in RF technologies such as Microwave, 2-Way Radio, and Satellite.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting industrial wireless technologies.
- Proven ability to work in a large, fast-moving environment supporting RF communications.
Skills:
- Wireless system design using multipoint, LTE, and/or Wimax protocols.
- Indoor and/or outdoor DAS/WiFi AP layouts including site surveys.
- Support for two-way radio systems using Analog, TETRA, DMR, or P25 standards.
- SCADA and process control communication systems.
- Propagation coverage studies using tools like EDX, Atoll, etc.
- Link budget creation and analysis.
- Point-to-Point microwave systems and backhaul design.
- Satellite system integration.
- Other telecom solutions for a modern plant environment.
- Understanding of 4G/5G Core provisioning and basic IP architectures.
- Creation/review of communication/tower system documents and drawings (Visio and/or Autocad).
