
The study explores the influence of principal leadership styles and teachers’ commitment on the learning outcomes of secondary school students in Ogun State, Nigeria. It employs a descriptive survey method, focusing on 37 selected secondary schools from the Egba Division. Data is collected through standardized questionnaires administered to principals, subject teachers, and students, utilizing the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) and Teacher Commitment Survey (TCS). Findings are analyzed using SPSS, encompassing descriptive and inferential statistics such as correlation and regression analyses. The study aims to elucidate the relationships between principal leadership styles, teachers’ commitment, and students’ learning outcomes, addressing a gap in existing literature. Through a meticulous methodology including pilot testing for instrument reliability, the research aims to contribute valuable insights into educational leadership and its impact on student achievement.
