At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

  3. Identify the role of traditional fashion accessories in promoting cultural pride and unity.

Pupils should already know about different traditional fashion accessories and their uses. They may have seen or worn these accessories during cultural celebrations or family events.

Importance of Traditional Fashion Accessories

  2. Status and Respect: In many cultures, the type and quality of traditional accessories a person wears can indicate their social status or role in society, such as elders or leaders.
  3. Religious Significance: Accessories like beads and cowries may have spiritual meanings. They are worn during religious ceremonies or rituals.
  4. Beauty and Adornment: Traditional accessories enhance the beauty of individuals, making them look elegant during celebrations and social gatherings.
  5. Unity and Solidarity: Wearing similar traditional accessories in ceremonies or festivals can create a sense of belonging and unity within a community.

Lesson Presentation (Step-by-Step Procedure)

Step 1: Introduction
