Class: Primary Two
Week of the First Term: 8th Week
Topic: Forms of Prayer
Sub-Topic: Mention the Types of Forms of Prayer

Instructional Objectives
At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

  1. List and define different forms of prayer, including personal prayer, group prayer, silent prayer, and spoken prayer.
  2. Identify situations where each form of prayer might be used.
  3. Demonstrate each form of prayer through activities and role-play.

Entry Behaviour
Pupils should already know what prayer is and have a basic understanding of different types of prayer.

Instructional Materials

  1. A chart displaying different forms of prayer with simple definitions and examples.
  2. Flashcards with images and keywords related to each form of prayer.
  3. A storybook or children’s Bible with examples of different forms of prayer.
