Topic: Caring for Our Environment
Subtopic: Simple Ways to Keep Our Surroundings Clean


Instructional Objectives
At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

  1. Identify at least three simple ways to keep their surroundings clean.
  2. Explain why it is important to keep the environment clean.
  3. Participate in a group activity to practice cleaning up.

Entry Behaviour
Pupils should have a basic understanding of cleanliness and what it means to care for their surroundings.


Instructional Materials

  1. Visual aids (pictures of clean vs. dirty environments)
  2. Cleaning tools (small brooms, dustpans, cloths) for demonstration
  3. A large poster with “Ways to Keep Our Environment Clean” written on it

Content

  • Importance of Cleanliness: Explain why keeping our surroundings clean is important for our health and the planet.
