The Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme 2024 is now accepting applications. This initiative, a partnership between the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lagos and FATE Foundation, aims to empower young Nigerian entrepreneurs by providing essential support to develop their business ideas.
Benefits of the Program:
- Enterprise Management Training: Participants will learn the fundamentals of running a successful business, gaining vital skills for managing and growing their enterprises.
- Business Incubation & Advisory Services: The program offers comprehensive support, including guidance and advisory services to help participants navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship.
- Funding for Prototype Development & Testing: Participants receive financial support to develop and test their prototypes, enabling them to bring their innovative ideas to life and validate their business models.
- Mentorship & Coaching: Experienced entrepreneurs provide mentorship, sharing insights and expertise to help participants avoid common pitfalls and accelerate their business growth.
- Networking Opportunities: Participants will have the chance to connect with other entrepreneurs, industry experts, and potential investors, fostering valuable relationships that can support their business endeavors.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: 18-35 years old.
- Residence: Must reside in Ogun State.
- Business Stage: Must be in the concept validation stage.
- Sector Preferences: Circular economy, agriculture, health, water solutions, and technology.
- Gender Balance: Focus on gender balance.
- Digital Literacy: Must be computer literate and have access to a laptop or data-enabled device.
Application Process:
- Stage I: Complete the online application form and submit required documents, including a passport photograph, school certificate or statement of result, birth certificate, and optionally, CAC registration.
- Stage II: Shortlisted candidates will attend a two-day bootcamp, culminating in a pitch competition. The top 20 participants per stream will be selected for the six-month incubation program.
