II. Programme Details
The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (MTN STS) provides financial support to 300 level students in Nigerian public tertiary institutions who are studying Science & Technology-related courses. The MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) offers similar support to 200 & 300 level blind students, with increased annual awards and expanded recipient numbers starting in 2024.

- MTN STS:
- Public Universities and Colleges of Education: Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4 or 3.5/5 (second class upper credit).
- Public Polytechnics: Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (upper credit) from OND program and secured admission into HND program.
- Direct Entry STEM students: Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (upper credit) from OND program and secured admission into 300 level in a public university.
- MTN SBS:
- Universities or Colleges of Education: Minimum CGPA of 2.5.
- Public Polytechnics: Minimum CGPA of 2.0 from OND program and secured admission into HND program.
